History of Caversham Wildlife Park

When David and Pat purchased the 5–acre property that operates as a park in 1988, there was only a small collection of animals. After a few years, the family decided to purchase the adjoining property and thus giving the park twice its size. Hence, they began adding more animals in the park and making it a premiere development in Western Australia. Today, they are recognised as one of the world’s largest privately owned collection of native wildlife.

In May of 2003, they decided to design and build a new park, Whiteman Park which was twice as large of their existing property. Thus, the Caversham Wildlife Park officially established its address in Perth.

The Caversham Wildlife Park is open daily from 9am to 5.30pm except on Christmas day, The last entry is at 4.30pm but it is advisable to arrive before lunchtime so that you can see and enjoy doing all the interactive experiences (some attractions closed at 3pm).
