Go Kart / Track Day Tasmania – Kart Magic Latrobe
With a major kart upgrade a few years ago, Kart Magic Latrobe now sports a modern fleet of karts to suit all ages. Equipped with electronic speed controls, the karts can be powered down remotely if required in the event of an emergency, or someone driving dangerously.
They also have dual seat cards so children can ride along with you. Unless of course they prefer to hang out in playing arcade games instead. Overall, its 4.5 star rating from numerous reviews indicates that Kart Magic comes highly recommended from those whose opinions count, namely their clientele.
Go Kart / Track Day Tasmania – Southern Tasmanian Kart Club
For a great go kart / track day in Tasmania head to one of the Southern Tasmanian Kart Club’s monthly club days or their 2 Open Race Meetings. The club goes to a great deal of effort to ensure they promote go kart racing and driving as a family orientated sport that is heaps of fun to do, and almost as much fun to watch.
The club’s track and clubrooms are located at Orielton. Their events are all free entry for spectators and they also run a fully stocked canteen.
Go Kart / Track Day Tasmania – Launceston Kart Club
The Launceston Kart Club is one of the oldest kart clubs in Tasmania. It started life as the Tasmanian Midget Car Club before transforming into the Launceston Go-Kart club and then the Launceston Kart Club.
The club is one of just a handful of go kart clubs that owns their own venue. Currently that’s 15 acres deeded to them by the previous owners of the land. The 773-metre track has hosted the Australian Karting Championships a few times over the years. It’s also where V8 Supercar champion Marcos Ambrose got bitten by the racing bug!
